Cookie Notice
Version 1. Effective October 25, 2026.
This notice explains what Sondola Inc. ("Sondola", "we", "us") stores in your browser on our marketing site at sondola.com and in the product at app.sondola.com, and the choices you have. It adds to our Privacy Policy at https://sondola.com/legal/privacy.
About the "In short" summaries. Sections marked In short are plain-English summaries. They do not change what this notice says.
In short. We store only what is needed to sign you in, remember your cookie choice and protect the public demo. Analytics on the marketing site run only if you say yes. We do not use advertising cookies.
1. What this notice covers
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Local storage and similar browser storage work in a similar way. We treat all of them the same way in this notice, and the same choices cover them.
2. Strictly necessary storage
These are needed for the site and the product to work or to protect them. They do not need your consent, they are not used to track you, and they cannot be switched off without affecting how the site or product works.
| What | Where | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sign-in session | The product at app.sondola.com | Signs you in and keeps your session secure | For as long as your session lasts, or until you sign out |
| Your cookie choice | sondola.com | Remembers whether you allowed analytics, so we do not ask on every visit | Six months, then we ask again |
| Demo ID | The public demo | A random ID that limits how often the demo can be opened. We use it for nothing else. The Privacy Policy, section 4.7, explains what we store about demo visits | Until you clear your browser storage |
3. Optional analytics
On the marketing site at sondola.com only, we use PostHog, a third-party analytics provider named on our Subprocessors page, for two separate purposes. You choose each one separately:
- Product analytics. Which pages are opened, which links are clicked, and whether you arrived from a search engine or an AI assistant. Counted in aggregate.
- Session replay. A replay of how a page was used, so we can see where a layout fails. Form fields and typed text are masked in your browser before anything is sent.
Both are off until you turn them on. We ask on your first visit and keep your answer for six months. PostHog uses cookies and local storage for these purposes, and your choice covers both.
PostHog does not run inside the product at app.sondola.com, and it does not receive the numbers in your workspace.
4. What we do not use
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not do cross-site advertising tracking on our website or in the product.
5. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal of both kinds of analytics and do not ask.
We do not respond to the older Do Not Track signal separately, because we do not track you across other websites and there is no cross-site tracking for it to stop.
6. Changing your choice
The Cookie choices link in the footer of every page on sondola.com lets you change your answer at any time. You can also clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones will sign you out of the product and may stop the public demo from opening.
7. Changes
We will post any change here with a new version number and effective date. If we ever want to add a new kind of optional storage, we will ask for your consent before using it.

What changed
- This is the first version of the Cookie Notice as its own page. It replaces the cookie text that was in section 14 of Privacy Policy version 5.
- It lists the demo ID as strictly necessary storage used only to limit how often the demo can be opened.
- It adds a statement on Do Not Track.
